This week Caitlin and Ira stop by the farm to discuss the environmentally literate, rat-loving adventure known as the Secret of NIMH. Don Bluth’s beautiful animated fantasy is from 1981; one of the last years it was totally ok to make deeply weird and upsetting movies for kids. Keep an eye out for a few drops of cartoon blood.
Episode 06: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
Today we are talking about what we can all agree, no questions asked, no debate necessary, is the greatest film of all time, according to local podcast host and cartoon mogul Caitlin Cadieux. Jump into the super-collider with us as try to wrap our brains around what makes this movie so dang good.
Episode 05: Soul
Join us today as we journey beyond the veil and into Pixar’s Soul, the latest and possibly the last film we’ll see helmed by Pete Docter from the studio. In many ways, Soul feels like a true culmination of the past two decades of Pixar’s work – and certainly of Pete Docter’s oeuvre. Vibe with us in the Great Beyond as we comb over the hall of every last little thing in Soul!
Episode 04: Incredibles 2
It's time to talk about The Incredibles 2! The sequel everyone asked for and everyone is lukewarm on. In this episode, we figure out what makes a good sequel, a good villain, and what makes this cartoon a less than ideal follow-up to the beloved original.
Episode 03: Nothing But The Incredibles
That’s right – it’s an All Incredibles All the Time Episode! The Incredibles is much-beloved by many a Pixar fan, and it also has a number of weirdnesses in it. It’s a movie that’s easy to love, and one that’s easy to feel a little… odd about. Have some objections, even! We get into what makes this movie so fun and loveable, and what makes it a little hard to talk about!
Episode 02: Pixar Feelings Part 2
Our second episode and follow-up to Part 1, where we got into so many of our Pixar feelings that we had major spillover. In this episode we’re mainly talking Inside Out with a side of Coco and Toy Story 3.

Our first episode! In which we talk about our top (give or take... all of them) Pixar films in terms of importance to the sacred Pixar film canon.
